Why do you call it free?

So when you drive through McDonalds and give them $5 for your burger, do you feel like you got a free burger?  Probably not.  But if you pay your broker $150 a month in fees and you get signs and business cards, why do agents think that's free? 

Don't fall for the "Freebies".  Understand what you're PAYING for and demand that you get the burger you want.  Texas Pride Realty has no office fees for producing agents.   

Second Career...First Career

One thing I have noticed about agents is that real estate is usually their second or third career. Rarely is real estate their first career. It's interesting to see that people come from corporate America, from teaching, from other sales jobs, etc. What makes a good agent is one who can hunt for leads. I'll post more about leads later but an agent who waits for their broker to bring in clients will be out of business quickly.
